New UK Pop Songtress Tonya Lacey has just caught my ear and I like what I hear.. Having credits for writing J.Lo's verse on Will.i.Ams "T.H.E." She has signed to Sony Music.
This single "Letter to my Ex" came to me in the form of a live performace from some random searching for new music so I had to give it a listen. What girl is not always looking for a new song to quote about their ex. I was surprised by her voice, she could sing. So I found the single and instantly downloaded followed by another single recently released
She got her start in Reggae band at 16 being of Antiguan and English decent born in Bristol, England. I am sure most over here in the states don't know her yet but I think soon we all will. With a Poppy yet soulful voice I will be on the look out for more to come from her for you all.
I cant help I am a sucker for a pretty face, accents, and soothing vocals. She did that.
